Dark Chocolate Covered Mixed Bourbon and Rum Barrel Aged Espresso Beans
One a touch bitter while the other a little sweet. (just like me)The chocolate coating is 75% Peruvian Cacao from Oro Verde. The coffee beans are an espresso blend from Guatemala, Antigua, Peru, and Rwanda. It’s been medium-light roasted to preserve the barrel flavor while developing the sweetness of the coffee. After roasting, the beans were aged 10 days in a bourbon barrel from one of Kentucky’s famous distilleries
Our 75% Peruvian Dark Chocolate from Oro Verde is used to coat the coffee beans which are also from Peru, Cusco - in the La Convencion Valley surrounding the Urubamba River. The Rum barrel is from the Caribbean and aged for 7 days. It's not over powering but you definitely taste all the nuances that make rum so buttery delicious. The beans are then dusted in a little confectioners (powdered) sugar for a sweet finish.
